| The
MTS-BUD Buddy
Phone®
transceiver has been specifically designed as an acoustic
underwater telephone to be used with the Mantis full face
mask. MTS-BUD uses ultrasonic, upper single
sideband for transmission. The MTS-BUD comes
complete ready to install to the Mantis full face
mask. |

| The com-plug
which is part of the MTS-BUD has a Push-to-talk
control and patented, All depth Super
Mic®
incorporated. The MTS-BUD Buddy Phone®
transceiver simply installs onto the full face masks head
strap. When the diver enters the water, the
MTS-BUD powers up and cycles to the receive mode -
ready to receive a message. When the diver/s want to
transmit, they simply depress the PTT button located on the
com-plug and talk. All divers and/or surface stations
within range and on the same frequency will hear the
message. |
| The
MTS-BUDS is a packaged system. The package is
complete with (1) MTS-BUD transceiver including the
Super Mic®, push to talk assembly installed on
a MTS-FFM-1 full face mask. Super Mic® The Super Mic was specifically designed for the
Sport divers allowing for taking the mask off at any depth and
not damaging the microphone element. In all, the Buddy Phone -
Mantis combination is tailor made for the serious Sport
Diver! |
